A rustic countryside home in East Sussex

Sunday, November 10, 2019
This home is owned by Sally Bourne of Sally Bourne Interiors and her partner David Confino. After going through a divorce and thinking on what to do in the next stage of her life, Sally decided to move out of London and into the countryside. The house was built in the 1930s and had been empty for six years and on the market for four before Sally and David moved in.

This house gives me such a fresh spring feel. Striped linen, windowsill herbs, an uncut loaf on the table, rose-coloured hydrangeas, log fires, chintzy curtains, sunny yellow pillows, shabby furniture and woven blankets, it oozes countryside charm and an easter weekend away with your grandparents.
