My 2018 winter skincare routine

Monday, January 08, 2018

Today I want to show you guys the skincare products I use. I have normal to combination skin if that's useful to anyone looking into buying any of these products - bear in mind some of them are intensely hydrating so if you're an oily gal I'd be cautious.

Hope you enjoy this post!

Cleanse: I use Cleanse & Polish by Liz Earle daily and use Radiant Dawn Exfoliating Daily Wash by Amie once a week because it's way more exfoliating than the Liz Earle one. If I'm feeling lazy I'll remove my make-up using these Micellar Oil Cleansing Facial Wipes from Superdrug and then this Micellar gel from Primark to make sure I've got everything off.

Tone, moisturise, and treat: I run Instant Boost Skin Tonic by Liz Earle over my face using a cotton round, then moisturise using Skin Food by Weleda. I do have a Liz Earle moisturiser that I use in the summer (this one to be precise) but in the winter I need something more intense and Skin Food is incredibly moisturising and packed full of goodness. Then I put Spot Zapping Gel by Newtons Labs on any spots I have, and finish with some Overnight Lip Treatment from Primark (not online, sorry!)

Miscellaneous moisturisers: I always forget to moisturise my body, but when I actually do remember I go for my trusty Ultimate Blends Honey Treasures Restoring Body Lotion by Garnier. I use this mostly in the summer to moisturise my legs after shaving seeing as that's the only time they see the light of day. I keep this tube of Skin Relief Restore & Protect hand cream by Aveeno on my bedside because my hands get really dry at night and this stuff is pure magic.
