So, I read The Cursed Child

I read all of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Thursday! 🎉

I kinda loved it and it I'm really surprised I managed to get through the entire thing in a day (bought it in the afternoon, finished it at 8pm, had breaks in between since y'know, gotta eat, pee, and socialise). I'd heard mixed reviews about it, but I thought it was really fun. I'd obviously love to see it performed, but since tickets for the play are like gold dust and London is really far (and expensive as heck to get to), it's not looking likely.

I've always loved reading screenplays and play scripts - I still have copies of film scripts I bought off eBay years ago - so I really enjoyed reading the Cursed Child. It was lovely returning to these old characters, I felt like a kid again. It's got everything you want from a Harry Potter story, and I loved every bit of it. I mean, the first page gave me goosebumps, so I instantly knew it was going to be a fun ride.

Worth the read if you haven't picked up the book already, and if you're lucky enough to grab a ticket I'm sure the play is worth seeing too.

Have you guys read the book yet? What are your thoughts?
